Job Description
**Job Title** Casual Concierge **Role Summary** Provide front‑line guest services and support building operations. Ensure a welcoming environment, coordinate access for visitors and service personnel, manage deliveries and amenities, monitor security systems, and uphold safety protocols while delivering a high‑quality customer experience. **Expectations** - Availability for evenings, weekends, overnight and daytime shifts. - Prompt response to guest inquiries and issue resolution. - Strict adherence to building security and emergency procedures. **Key Responsibilities** - Greet, acknowledge, and welcome arriving and departing guests. - Demonstrate active listening and ask clarifying questions. - Screen and coordinate access for visitors, contractors, and service personnel. - Maintain up‑to‑date information on local services, events, and attractions. - Receive and coordinate guest deliveries; book meeting rooms as needed. - Maintain lobby coffee station and manage laundry valet services. - Assist guests with luggage, parcels, and vehicle parking retrieval. - Monitor video, alarm, and communication systems; detect and report security issues. - Verify visitor identities prior to entrance; monitor exterior traffic and garage usage. - Keep log books of activities, maintenance requests, problems, and key distribution. - Ensure front desk/work area is neat, tidy, and fully stocked. - Report complaints, service breakdowns, and guest suggestions to management. - Implement customer service standards and communicate difficult issues to supervisor. - Perform additional duties within the scope of the role as requested by management. **Required Skills** - Effective written and verbal communication; strong listening skills. - Customer‑service oriented with a collaborative, team‑player mindset. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook. - Ability to solve problems, use good judgment, and exercise initiative. - Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and creativity in service delivery. **Required Education & Certifications** - High‑school diploma or equivalent (asset). - Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant work experience. - Bilingualism an asset.
