Job Description
Job title: Executive Assistant Role Summary: Senior Executive Assistant providing high-level support to the Chief Executive of a national arts organization. Responsibilities include managing complex schedules, preparing meeting materials, coordinating domestic and international travel, administering board governance, and overseeing event and hospitality logistics within a fast-paced, creative environment. Expactations: - Manage senior executive’s diary and inbox with priority accuracy. - Prepare briefing documents, agendas, and meeting packs. - Coordinate travel arrangements across the UK and internationally. - Support board meetings and governance administration. - Handle event and hospitality coordination. - Maintain accurate records and respond to enquiries. Key Responsibilities: - Complex diary and inbox management for senior leadership. - Preparation of briefing materials, agendas, and meeting packs. - Coordination of UK and international travel logistics. - Support governance: board meetings, documentation, compliance. - Event and hospitality coordination for internal and external events. - Management of enquiries and maintenance of accurate records. Required Skills: - Significant experience supporting senior leaders. - Excellent communication, relationship building, and attention to detail. - Ability to handle confidential information and competing priorities. - Experience within the arts or creative sector. - Proficiency in Microsoft 365. Required Education & Certifications: - Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (preferred in Business Administration, Communications, or related field). - Certifications in Office Administration, Executive Support, or relevant governance training are advantageous.
