Job title: Chief Operating Officer (Co-Founder – Operations) Role Summary: Founding operational leader for an AI‑native productivity SaaS cooperative. Provides structure and coordination across product, finance, HR, and external relations while maintaining a lean, partnership‑based ownership model. Expectations: - Commit ~10 hours per week until revenue or funding enables monetized shares. - No upfront cash; compensation tied to future revenue or funding and shared equally among founders. - Act as a true founder: fully integrate into product, people, finance, and supplier ecosystems, not a contractor or advisor. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement operating framework, processes, and documentation. - Manage supplier and vendor relationships, negotiating terms and ensuring alignment with company goals. - Oversee bookkeeping setup, accounting structure, and financial reporting in coordination with founders. - Drive recruiting, onboarding, and talent integration for an international team. - Introduce governance mechanisms for cooperative founder contracts and share allocation based on contribution. - Collaborate closely with the CPO, design, and development leads to align operational support with product roadmap. - Monitor metrics, identify bottlenecks, and provide solutions to improve execution and scalability. Required Skills: - Proven operational experience in startups or SMEs; familiarity with SaaS ecosystems. - Strong grasp of bookkeeping, accounting, and financial reporting. - HR knowledge covering recruitment, onboarding, and international team management. - Supplier and vendor negotiation skills. - Excellent communication and coordination abilities for cross‑functional teams. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or related field. - Professional certifications in accounting (e.g., CPA) or operations (e.g., Six Sigma) are a plus.
