Job title: Junior Quantitative Researcher Role Summary: A junior researcher focused on developing, back‑testing, and refining short‑term predictive signals and strategy models for high‑frequency trading environments. Works closely with senior researchers and engineers to move research from prototype to production, eventually owning live trading strategies. Expactations: - Collaborate with senior team members to scale research into production. - Gradually assume ownership of live strategies and manage a trading book when qualified. - Iterate on models through experimentation, analysis, and deployment feedback. Key Responsibilities - Analyse large‑scale, high‑frequency market data to uncover micro‑structure patterns. - Design and back‑test short‑term predictive signals. - Build and maintain research pipelines and tools to improve testing efficiency and reliability. - Continuously refine models based on experimental results and real‑time deployment insights. Required Skills - Strong quantitative and statistical analysis abilities. - Proficiency in Python (and familiarity with data‑science libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit‑learn, or similar). - Experience with large dataset handling, ETL processes, and performance optimisation. - Solid programming skills; experience with compiled languages (C++ or Rust) is advantageous. - Familiarity with version control (Git), unit testing, and code review practices. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline. - 1–3 years of relevant experience in quantitative research, applied machine learning, or data science; finance experience is a plus. - Knowledge of high‑frequency or tick‑level market data and trading concepts is desirable.

**Job Title**: Backend Engineer **Role Summary** Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services and APIs for a rapidly scaling tech startup. Deliver production‑grade code from day one, own features end‑to‑end, and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and security. **Expectations** - Work in an intense, high‑pacing environment with a 6‑day week schedule. - Own entire feature lifecycle: specification, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and post‑release support. - Deliver code quickly while maintaining high quality and robust documentation. - Adapt to fast‑changing requirements and evolving technology stack. **Key Responsibilities** 1.
