We are seeking an experienced Privacy Impact Assessment Specialist to join our team and lead the evaluation of new technologies, information systems, and programs against provincial, federal, and private sector privacy legislation.

This is a critical role for professionals who are passionate about privacy compliance and skilled at navigating complex regulatory environments.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading and supporting the development of Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)

• Ensuring compliance with FIPPA, MFIPPA, PHIPA, and PIPEDA

• Assessing privacy risks associated with digital, cloud-based, and third-party solutions

• Collaborating with technical, legal, and business stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks

• Communicating findings and recommendations to senior leadership

What We're Looking For:

• Demonstrated experience conducting PIAs, particularly involving personal health information and digital/online solutions

• Strong working knowledge of Ontario privacy legislation and IPC jurisprudence

• Familiarity with security architecture, API integrations, and cloud-based technologies

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Prior Ontario Public Sector (OPS) experience is a strong asset
