Position Title: Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Employment Type: W2 (Minimum 12 months visa validity required)

Duration: 12–18 Months (Long-Term Contract)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to support major enterprise initiatives involving custom modules and complex enhancements in Oracle 23c. This role requires deep expertise in PL/SQL, performance tuning, application development, and Oracle Financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
Develop and enhance Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and tables
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) throughout the SDLC
Design tables, functions, and feed setups aligned to business requirements
Map business requirements to technical solutions and guide development teams
Develop solutions for data conversions, extracts, reports, and interfaces
Collaborate with Product Owners to identify gaps and design solutions
Define test scenarios and develop test scripts
Perform debugging, runtime analysis, system monitoring, and performance tuning
Develop end-user documentation and training materials

Required Technical Skills

Strong expertise in Oracle 23c & Oracle PL/SQL
Experience building:
Stored Procedures
Functions
Packages
Tables
Strong experience in Unix Shell Scripting
Experience with Autosys scheduler
Extensive experience in debugging & performance tuning
Runtime analysis and system monitoring
Experience in defining test cases and supporting testing teams
Strong SQL skills

Required Experience

15+ years of Oracle PL/SQL & application development experience
Experience working in enterprise-scale environments
Strong Agile experience
Strong communication skills with business and technical teams
Ability to advise stakeholders on risks and system impacts

Desired / Preferred

Experience with Oracle Financial R12
Experience with Oracle Financial Cloud integration
Experience identifying functionality gaps and conducting POCs
Experience with data conversions & complex financial modules
