Digital Engineering – Contingent Worker

$55/hour

Role: React Native Developer

We are looking for an experienced React Native Developer to join our Digital Engineering team in San Francisco (on-site).

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain robust React Native applications for iOS and Android
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks
Integrate third-party APIs and native modules
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
Stay current with trends in the React Native and mobile ecosystem

Required Qualifications

4+ years of experience building mobile applications using React Native
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and mobile app architecture
Proven experience deploying apps to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
Familiarity with native build tools (Xcode, Android Studio, Gradle)
Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and Git
Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices
Ability to debug performance issues and memory leaks
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with native development (Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java)
Familiarity with tools like Fastlane, Firebase, CodePush
Experience with analytics, crash reporting, and monitoring tools
Experience working on large-scale or complex mobile applications
Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps, Docker, and Agile transformation initiatives
