The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Senior SDET / QA Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Oro Valley, AZ 85755. Details for the position are as follows:
Pay Rate Range - $50 - 75/hr on W2
1-year assignment with possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and budget
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer / Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our agile Software Development Team. This role extends beyond just identifying defects and will be vital in designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies, automation frameworks, and test cases.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree Required.
Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in software testing, with a significant focus on test automation framework design and implementation.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (black-box, white-box, functional, non-functional, regression, integration, system, acceptance).
Experience with industry-standard test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG - At least ANY 1 of these required).
Adept in at least one object-oriented programming and scripting language used for test automation (e.g., Python, Java or C#).
Proficient using CI/CD tools and test management tools and processes (e.g., Jira, Client ALM, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Experience using AI tools to perform automated test planning, development, execution, analysis and reporting preferred.
