Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Strategy to support enterprise‑level decision‑making through advanced modeling, long‑range planning, valuation support, and corporate development activities. This hybrid role in Columbus, OH is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of finance and strategy — someone who can build sophisticated models, evaluate new opportunities, and advise leadership with data‑driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain complex financial models, including scenario analyses, valuation models (DCF, comps, sensitivities), capital planning, and portfolio optimization
Support corporate development initiatives, including due diligence, target evaluation, synergy analysis, and integration planning
Develop long‑range financial plans aligned with enterprise strategy and market trends
Conduct competitive, market, and industry analysis to inform strategic recommendations
Partner with executives across Finance, Operations, and Strategy to guide decision‑making
Prepare board‑level presentations, investment cases, and strategy materials
Support capital allocation, ROI analyses, and prioritization of strategic initiatives
Drive data insights around new markets, product expansion, and organizational growth opportunities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA a plus)
5+ years of financial analysis experience, ideally within strategic finance, corporate development, investment banking, or private equity
Proven experience with advanced financial modeling and long-range planning
Experience in corporate development and/or M&A strongly preferred
Exceptional Excel and modeling capability; experience with BI or planning tools is a plus
Strong communication skills with ability to present to executives
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen
