Management Accountant

Contract Type: Freelance / Contract
Location: Hybrid - 2 days in London Office a week
Rate: Day rate dependant on experience
Duration: Immediate start, 3 months with potential to become permanent

Our client is urgently seeking a dedicated Management Accountant for an immediate backfill of a global role.

The successful candidate will provide essential support for global billing and administration while operating within a SOX-regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage global billing and comprehensive administration tasks.
Execute duties with a strong understanding of revenue recognition.
Ensure all financial and reporting work meets the requirements of a SOX basis.
Utilize Excel extensively to complete core daily work.
Collaborate on-site two days a week to stay aligned with the team and up-to-date on upcoming business challenges.
Complete and submit timesheets on the designated platform for approval by the hiring manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications

The preferred candidate should have good knowledge of accounting / finance (qualifications and a good bonus)
A firm grasp of revenue recognition principles.
Experience with or an understanding of SOX compliance requirements.
High proficiency in Excel. (Note: Instead of a formal test, Excel skills and practical usage will be assessed through direct questioning during the interview).
A strong mentality and a genuine "hunger to succeed".
Readiness to "get stuck in straight away".

The initial sign-off is for 3 months on the system, however likely to be extended or made into a permanent position if the right fit.

The role requires the individual to be on-site two days a week.
