What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

Lead the development and improvement of Identity Governance policies, standards, and procedures.
Create and continuously curate documentation around IAM processes, configurations and guidelines.
Execute regular access and entitlement reviews for employees, third parties and systems.
Assist Information Security Governance and Compliance teams to ensure organization compliance with all IAM requirements.
Support IT Project teams, ensuring the best possible integration of IAM best practices in the project scope.
Work with Security Architects from specialized business functions like connected vehicle and connected factory to apply best practices to their domains.
Lead design and implementation of Identity requirements for all onboarded/integrated new applications.
Advise the Information Security Risk organization regarding the enterprise risks associated with Identity Mgmt.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement proactive measures to enhance the organization's security posture.
Stay up to date with the latest security threats, attack vectors, and industry best practices to continuously improve identity and access management controls.
Regularly meet with and manage relationship with IAM partners and vendors.
Participate in regular security assessments and address potential weaknesses in the IAM governance.
Contribute to the development and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Maintain proficiency in IAM tooling through training and knowledge transfers across teams.

Location & Travel Expectations:

This role may be based out of the Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC. This role may be remote to start but will transition to an in-office setting at the headquarters within 3-6 months of start date. This role is not eligible for remote work in New York City.
This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
5+ years of proven experience working as a Security Engineer, Analyst, or in a similar role.
Demonstrated expertise in complex technical investigations while also comfortable taking over the wheel and driving Security team initiatives, particularly focused on detection and response operations.
Proficiency in Azure AD or equivalent Identity Mgmt tool.
Design and Implementation authentication, authorization and Federation Frameworks(SSO, MFA, RBAC)
Develop automation and workflows for provisioning and de-provision and lifecycle management of identity management, privileged identity management, and password management.
Effective collaborator, independent project manager
