DevOps Engineer – Global Derivatives Trading Role

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to support global derivatives trading production environments. You will ensure the stability, resilience, and performance of trading systems, collaborating closely with delivery, infrastructure, and development teams. This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced trading environment, with exposure to algorithmic trading, market data distribution, and timeseries analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively manage and improve end-to-end trading workflows and system reliability.

Troubleshoot issues across development, support, and trading operations.

Support scalable algorithmic trading systems with compliance and audit considerations.

Participate in on-call rotations as part of a global engineering team.

Implement robust solutions from rapid incident fixes and continuous improvements.

Required Experience & Skills

8–10+ years in commodity trading, capital markets, or investment banking support.

Strong knowledge of global futures exchanges and exchange-traded derivatives lifecycle.

Experience with market data distribution platforms (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, RTDS, DACS/ADH/ADS).

Hands-on experience with time series frameworks (kdb, Shakti, or similar).

Programming/scripting expertise: Python, PowerShell, SQL, C#.

Experience with FIX protocols, vendor certification, EMS/OMS software, and multicast messaging.

Knowledge of trading lifecycle: order capture, execution, allocation, settlement, compliance.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Ability to perform under pressure in fast-moving trading environments.

Self-motivated, proactive, and flexible.
