Location: Unit 203B, M25 Business Centre, 121 Brooker Road, Waltham Abbey, EN9 1JH

Contract: Freelancer, Fixed Term Contract

Working Hours: 10 hours

Working Pattern: Hybrid, In-person at office for filming and content creation

Rate: £12.21 an hour (£10 an hour for 18 to 20 year olds)

Role Description

This is a temporary, on-site and remote (for editing) role for a Social Media Content Creator located in Waltham Abbey. The Social Media Content Creator will be responsible for developing engaging social media content, managing social media accounts, creating posts and campaigns, monitoring performance metrics, and collaborating with the marketing and design teams to align content with brand objectives. The role also involves keeping up-to-date with social media trends and best practices.

Do you have proven experience as a social media content creator?
Do you have professional experience of presenting in trending videos and love being front and centre in TikToks/Reels?
Do you have at least three years’ experience of creating content for established brands? (either in house, at an agency or freelance)?
Are you an organised all-rounder, with a good aptitude for writing copy, filming content, editing videos in app, managing clients/stakeholders and meeting deadlines?

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of filming and editing professional videos for Reels/TikTok on iPhone
Proven experience of appearing / presenting in professional client Reels/TikToks
Strong experience in Social Media Management, including creating posts and planning campaigns
Graphic Design and Visual Content Creation skills
Ability to analyze performance metrics and optimize content accordingly
Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and brand alignment
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Excellent written communication, creativity, and attention to detail
Proficiency in relevant social media platforms and tools
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred

Appearing in our content as a presenter / content creator
Writing copy for social media posts
Developing wider creative campaigns for all our brands
Weekly and monthly content analytics reporting
Online community management will be required
