Job Title: Risk/Compliance Specialist
Job Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid(3 days onsite in a week)
Employment Type: Contract

Job description:
Lead enterprise risk assessments by analyzing data from multiple sources to identify control gaps, assess remediation strategies, and strengthen organizational risk posture across business and technology domains.
Interpret regulatory policies, legislation, and security standards to provide clear, actionable guidance to senior management and executives, translating compliance requirements into operational implementations.
Design, map, and scope internal control frameworks, delivering gap analysis, control design, and remediation planning across areas including logical access control, secure development, security architecture, and privacy.
Drive risk, governance, and compliance initiatives through strong stakeholder engagement, expert communication, and application of technical security, agile development, and risk management principles, with GRC tool experience as an added advantage.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Disclosure
