Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Location: - Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Duration –6+ Months

Visa : GC/GC EAD/ USC

Job Description:

Technical Skills; Cloud (AWS), Shell Scripting, sharp communication and ownership are must to have.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and improve applications performance, availability and security
Evaluate tools in SRE areas to improve application performance
Demonstrated successful design, planning and implementation of highly reliable solutions, including troubleshooting and capacity planning
Collaborate with Cyber Security and identify solutions for remediation of vulnerabilities in the web and middleware infrastructure using automated code reviews
Partner with product managers, technical program managers and business stakeholders on a cross-functional team to drive projects forward
Manage technical risk and promote responsible innovation.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation that supports our critical production services

Must-Haves:

Must be willing to work onsite and on call rotation
Must be willing to work evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays with little or/no notice
10+ years of experience managing large scale websites
10+ years of experience with application deployment processes/CICD.
5+ years of experience with OTT and Mobile apps performance improvements
5+ years of experience supporting services, micro-services, and n-tier systems
5+ years of experience with software automation technologies
2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code practices
5+ years extensive experience with Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform
3+ Years working with Code and Infrastructure Security
5+ years of experience with application and container instrumentation using APM tools such as Datadog/New Relic, Sysdig, App Dynamics, and Zabbix.
3+ years of experience with implementing and monitoring security policies for application and infrastructure – WAF, Site Shield
3+ years of experience with Disaster Recovery and High Availability initiatives
5+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Perl, Groovy.
5+ years of experience with Configuration Management tools such as Ansible, Salt, Chef, Puppet
5+ years of experience with application servers
