Position Title: Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Location: McLean, VA (Fully on-site)
Duration: Long Term Assignment

Role 1: Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS Platform Heavy role)
Focus is Core AWS infrastructure + networking + platform stability
networking deep dive : means they don’t want someone who just uses AWS, someone who designs, configures, troubleshoots, and owns the cloud network layer.
Must Haves:
Strong AWS infrastructure & networking deep dive.
AWS native services (Lambda, CloudFormation, VPC, Route53, PrivateLink, IAM, KMS)
CloudFormation (CFT) – real hands-on exp is must have.
Terraform is nice to have.
CI/CD - Jenkins, Git, Artifactory
Python/Shell scripting.
AWS Solution Architect Professional certificate.
Role 2: Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (GenAI Enablement Focus)
Focus is AWS infrastructure + enabling GenAI solutions.
On the AWS side, the team is currently working with multiple models, including DeepSeek, Meta models, and other foundational models to enable and support customer-specific use cases.
This role is strictly for an infrastructure engineering professional, not an application developer. We are not the users of these models; instead, we focus on platform-level enablement, integration, scalability, security, and operational support.
The existing team is actively learning in this space and is seeking an experienced subject-matter expert to provide guidance and hands-on support. As demand and internal queries related to GenAI are increasing, this role is critical to help scale and stabilize our enablement efforts.
Currently, GenAI enablement is centered around AWS Bedrock, with Amazon SageMaker planned as the next phase of expansion.
Must Haves:
Strong AWS infrastructure + networking.
AWS native services (Lambda, CloudFormation, VPC, Route53, PrivateLink, IAM, KMS)
AWS Bedrock
GenAI services enablement
Supporting AI workloads in cloud.
CloudFormation (CFT)
Terraform is nice to have.
