Job Responsibilities
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive legal intern to join our Legal team specializing in M&A, cross-functional, and strategic projects. This 6-month internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a leading luxury group, contributing to high-profile international and domestic legal matters.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and autonomous individual eager to develop their legal skills in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
M&A Support: Assisting with various stages of mergers & acquisitions projects, including due diligence, drafting ancillary documents, and coordinating with external counsel.
Strategic Projects: Contributing to the legal aspects of strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects, providing legal analysis and support to business units.
Corporate Governance: Supporting corporate legal matters for Moët Hennessy’s French entities, including drafting corporate documents (e.g., board minutes, resolutions), assisting with corporate formalities, and maintaining corporate records.
Contract Review & Drafting: Reviewing, analyzing, and assisting in the drafting of a wide range of commercial contracts, legal agreements, and other legal documents.
Legal Research: Conducting in-depth legal research on various topics, including M&A, corporate law, commercial law, and regulatory compliance, to support ongoing projects and provide legal opinions.
Knowledge Management: Assisting in the organization and maintenance of legal documentation, databases, and knowledge management systems.
Profile
Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Law (Master 1 or Master 2), ideally with a specialization in Corporate Law, Business Law, M&A, or equivalent.
Previous internship experience in a law firm or in-house legal department is a plus.
Strong academic record.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
Demonstrated autonomy, proactivity, and a strong sense of initiative.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to conduct thorough legal research.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
