Job Title: SmartComm Developer (MERN Stack Developer)

Location: Toronto (Hybrid)

Hiring Mode: Contract

Pay: CAD 60-75/Hr.

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MERN Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, and will be responsible for delivering dynamic, scalable, and high-performance applications. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers and other developers, to build responsive and user-friendly solutions.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js.
Design, optimize, and manage MongoDB database schemas.
Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Write clean, modular, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Perform testing, debugging, and performance optimization of applications.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Stay updated with emerging web technologies, tools, and best practices.
Work within an Agile development environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

10+ years of experience in full-stack development.
Strong hands-on experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Knowledge of MySQL.
Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Desirable Skills

Experience as a SmartComm Developer (Retirements domain preferred).
