Job Overview
At Lavazza North America, the Junior Accountant plays a key part in keeping our financial operations running smoothly—supporting daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate and organized records, and contributing to monthly close and audit cycles.

Job Responsibilities
Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of financial records
Reconcile sub-ledgers to general ledger balances, identifying and resolving discrepancies
Assist with the posting and reconciliation of trade promotion accruals vs. actuals
Support intercompany transaction entries and monthly reconciliation
Provide assistance during internal and external audits by preparing schedules and gathering documentation
Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and other departments to ensure accurate GL and cost center coding, including reclasses when needed
Assist in the setup and maintenance of Finance-related purchase orders in SAP
Participate in ad hoc analysis, reporting, and special projects as assigned
Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
Prior experience in an accounting role, internship, or related function
Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, proactive mindset
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team player with the ability to work cross-functionally and independently
Comfortable working under pressure and handling unexpected challenges with a positive attitude
Travel Requirements
Occasionally travel (up to 10%) to our North American Headquarters in West Chester, PA.
