Job Specifications
We are seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and LaunchDarkly (Feature Flag Management) to lead DevOps strategy, automation initiatives, and cloud optimization efforts. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can drive CI/CD excellence, infrastructure as code practices, and modern release management strategies in a hybrid environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design, implementation, and optimization of scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines for enterprise-grade applications.
Implement and manage LaunchDarkly feature flag strategies for controlled deployments and progressive rollouts.
Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Optimize cloud cost, performance, reliability, and security best practices.
Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline DevOps processes.
Implement blue-green, canary, and rolling deployment strategies.
Ensure system observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting tools.
Mentor junior DevOps engineers and establish DevOps best practices.
Support production releases and troubleshoot critical issues as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, etc.).
Proven experience implementing and managing LaunchDarkly (feature flags, progressive delivery, A/B testing).
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
Experience implementing DevSecOps best practices.
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
