Role Overview
We are seeking a Network Security Engineer / Expert to deliver critical projects in network security and infrastructure management. The role involves ensuring compliance with minimum security requirements, managing network equipment lifecycle, and supporting operations and maintenance (MCO) in collaboration with global teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead remediation of Minimum Security Requirements (MSR).
• Manage network equipment obsolescence and lifecycle.
• Ensure MCO of network equipment, coordinating with internal teams.
• Design and maintain enterprise network architectures (LAN, WLAN, WAN, multi‑site interconnections).
• Implement and monitor network security policies (segmentation, ACLs, filtering, hardening, certificate management).
• Conduct vulnerability management (CVE analysis, risk prioritization, remediation).
• Oversee incident management (N1–N3), configuration, patching, and documentation.
• Support deployment and evolution projects across France and Poland.
• Collaborate with distributed teams (France, Poland, India) and external vendors.
Technical Skills
• Strong expertise in switching & routing (L2/L3, VLAN, STP, dynamic routing, redundancy, QoS).
• Proficiency with Centreon, CMDB, DDI tools (DNS, DHCP, IPAM).
• Experience with Cisco ISE (or equivalent) for network access control.
• Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls and advanced filtering tools.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITSM tools (ServiceNow or equivalent).
• Ability to perform network diagnostics, performance analysis, and retro‑engineering.
Soft Skills
• Clear communication with technical, business, and executive stakeholders.
• Strong service orientation, prioritization, and organizational discipline.
• Analytical mindset with ability to synthesize complex technical issues.
• Adaptability in multicultural, multi‑entity environments.
Qualifications
• Degree in IT, Networks, or Telecommunications.
• Cisco certifications (CCNP minimum, CCIE preferred).
• Security certifications (Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto, or equivalent) appreciated.
• ITIL Foundation certification desirable.
• Proven experience in network engineering, operations, and security within large enterprises or international groups.
