Your technical environment:
Our Network Security Engineers are involved in managing multidisciplinary projects. We are currently taking charge of large-scale initiatives in the mobility sector, focused on an activity transition that involves change management from both a human and organizational perspective.
Your professional responsibilities:
To support the team, you will be able to take the lead on all or part of the following responsibilities:
Work on the complete network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, datacenter, cloud) in both IT and operational technology environments running 24/7.
Support colleagues across European sites and contribute to projects like WAN upgrades, cloud migrations, and datacenter connectivity.
Tech stack you need to know:
• Firewalls: Checkpoint (essential) and Palo Alto
• Routing/switching protocols: OSPF, ISIS, MST
• Cisco gear: ACI, SD-WAN, routers (ASR, ISR), switches (Catalyst, Nexus), Wireless
• Cloud: Microsoft Azure
• Automation: Python and/or Ansible
• Monitoring tools: Zabbix, Elastic, NAC, syslog
• Authentication: TACACS and RADIUS
You demonstrate a strong willingness to further professionalize yourself and develop any missing skills.
Your profile and personality:
• You speak Dutch OR French + good English
• IT/computer science background
• Can work independently but also as part of a team
• Own car and willing to travel to Belgian sites when needed
• Open to on-call duty (roughly 1 week every month)
• Careful and thorough - you're working with critical infrastructure

Compensation:
Compensation will depend on years of experience and the specificity of technical expertise.
