Position: Full Stack .Net Developer

Duration: 24 month contract (up to 10-year contract extensions) - W2

Location: Rancho Cordova, CA (hybrid)

Pay Rate: $40-45/hr

Job Description:

Insight Global’s client, a system integrator, is seeking a Full Stack .NET Developer to provide local support for the State of California modernization project. This role is responsible for hands-on development of modern applications using .NET and microservices architecture. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build, enhance, and support scalable, cloud-hosted solutions as part of a large-scale system modernization effort.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain full-stack applications using MS .NET, MVC, and microservices
Design and implement backend services and APIs
Support applications hosted in AWS cloud environments
Work with SQL Server for data access and persistence
Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and QA teams to support modernization goals
Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability

Must Haves:

5+ years of experience with hands on full stack .Net development
2+ years of experience with microservices architecture
strong experience with MVC, AWS cloud hosting and SQL server

Pluses:

experience working with an eligibility system or labor department
experience using GenAI to create efficiencies in coding
