In a group-wide environment, work is being carried out within an Agile Release Train in the Order-to-Cash area on the further development and modernization of central IT systems. The goal is the development, integration, and migration of cloud-native applications for billing, sales, and invoicing. The technological focus is on microservices architectures in a Kubernetes-based cloud environment. Development is carried out primarily with Java and Spring Boot, supplemented by modern frontend technologies. The Senior Developer supports several teams throughout the entire software lifecycle—from design through implementation to operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Development and further enhancement of cloud-native software components

Integration and migration of existing applications into microservices architectures

Quality assurance through tests, code reviews, and clean documentation

Collaboration in agile, cross-functional teams following SAFe

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Must-have

At least 5 years of experience as a responsible backend developer in a DevOps environment

At least 5 years of experience with Kubernetes for orchestrating containerized applications

At least 5 years of experience with microservices and microservices architectures

At least 5 years of experience with Spring Boot and related frameworks such as Hibernate

At least 5 years of experience with Apache Kafka in event streaming

Nice-to-have / Should-have

At least 3 years of experience in cross-functional teams using agile methods (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)

At least 3 years of experience with DevOps approaches “you build it, you run it

At least 3 years of experience with PostgreSQL
