Essential Responsibilities & Duties
Support infrastructure planning studies, including master plans, servicing studies, and Class Environmental Assessments (Class EAs).
Assist in hydraulic modeling of water, wastewater, and stormwater systems using industry-standard tools.
Prepare mapping, model outputs, technical memos, and report sections under senior mentorship.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop clear, data-driven recommendations.
Participate in client meetings, workshops, and internal discussions as your confidence and expertise grow.
Support GIS analysis, data management, and occasional field verification tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Planning, or a related field.
0–3+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure planning or related fields (co-op or internship experience welcomed).
Familiarity with hydraulic modeling software (InfoWater, WaterCAD, InfoWorks, etc.) is an asset.
Experience with GIS platforms such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
Strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
A genuine eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to a supportive and collaborative environment.
Eligibility for EIT or future professional designation is preferred.
