Location: Jackson, MI

Work Schedule: Hybrid (On-site: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday | Remote: Wednesday, Friday)

Position Summary

The Planner IV serves as a subject matter expert in demand planning and inventory analytics, supporting supply chain operations through advanced forecasting, KPI development, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights and presenting findings to leadership and large cross-functional audiences.

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical, organized, and self-driven individual contributor who thrives in a collaborative utilities or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with inventory analysts, material coordination, engineering, and warehouse teams to understand material movement and inventory performance.
Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts to support operational planning.
Lead cross-functional demand reviews with key stakeholders across the organization.
Analyze inventory trends and forecasting accuracy; identify risks and opportunities.
Develop and implement KPIs to monitor demand planning accuracy and supply chain performance.
Serve as the analytical subject matter expert for demand planning processes.
Compile, interpret, and translate complex data into executive-ready presentations.
Present supply chain performance and material insights during:
Weekly supply chain reviews (audiences of 40–75 participants)
Company operating reviews with senior leadership
Tailor reports and presentations to meet the needs of various stakeholder audiences.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within planning and inventory management processes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Demonstrated experience in demand forecasting and inventory planning.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large datasets into clear insights.
Experience developing and tracking KPIs.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience working in SAP (S/4 HANA experience preferred).
Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a utilities or manufacturing environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to large groups.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual contributor.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in utilities or manufacturing industries.
Experience supporting S/4 HANA environments.
Experience leading cross-functional planning reviews.
