Our client, a leading financial services organization, is strengthening its digital experience platform and back-office systems. The Senior .NET Developer will contribute to both new project development and the maintenance of existing applications, ensuring robust, scalable, and high-quality solutions within an Agile and DevOps-driven environment.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET (C#) within a back-office and web environment.
Contribute to modernization and decommissioning initiatives as well as functional changes in existing systems.
Maintain and enhance legacy .NET Framework applications (e.g., WinForms).
Develop and deploy Windows Services and web services hosted in IIS 10.
Perform technical analysis and translate functional requirements into structured technical designs.
Implement and execute component and integration tests, ensuring high code quality.
Provide 3rd line support and actively participate in Agile ceremonies and client demos.

What are we looking for?

You have 10+ years of experience in .NET development, primarily with C#.
You possess strong experience in backend and service-oriented architectures, including WCF/SOAP, Web API, and SOA principles.
You have solid expertise in relational database design and T-SQL, including stored procedures and SQL functions.
You understand integration technologies such as XML, XSD, WSDL, REST, and JSON.
You have experience with web technologies including ASP.NET Web Forms and hosting in IIS.
You are experienced with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD practices.
You have experience working in Agile environments and within a DevOps culture.
You are fluent in Dutch and have very good knowledge of English.

Nice to Haves

Experience with Silverlight in combination with WCF.
Experience setting up automation in SoapUI.
Experience working with offshore teams.
Azure certification such as AZ-204 or AZ-305.
Experience within the insurance or financial services sector.
