Mission
Join us to lead a historic milestone for Qonto: our transition to becoming a fully licensed Credit Institution.
As Product Marketing Manager – Banking, your role is to lead our Credit Institution readiness and go-to-market, and to build a clear, cohesive narrative for our growing banking and financing products.
This role is about making the transition smooth, credible, and useful for customers — ensuring we communicate regulatory changes clearly, position new products correctly, and help customers understand how everything fits together.
You’ll report to Marco, the lead of the Product Marketing Core Banking team, and work closely with Product, Strategy, Legal, and Growth teams.
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager - Banking at Qonto, you will
Lead the Credit Institution GTM: Orchestrate the company-wide announcement and positioning of our new banking license.
Manage the Financing Portfolio: Define the positioning and lifecycle for our financing products, ensuring they complement rather than cannibalize each other.
Translate Regulatory Constraints: Turn complex banking regulations into transparent, customer-centric, and positive marketing messages.
Drive Strategic Alignment: Partner with C-level executives and the Strategy team to define the long-term banking narrative, influencing the roadmap based on market insights.
Collaborate with Product & Tech: Work in a "Product Trio" configuration (with Product Managers and Design) to build the banking value proposition from the ground up, ensuring our roadmap meets both user needs and regulatory standards.
What you can expect
Unexplored Territory: You will be the architect of our "Banking" pillar, defining how we communicate about credit and regulation in a way that no other B2B player has done before.
High Exposure: This role sits at the intersection of Marketing, Product, Legal, and Strategy. You will present regularly to senior leadership and navigate high-level strategic discussions.
The "Qonto Way": We work in cross-functional teams using our own Lean methodology. You will focus on quality and logic, using tools like Notion, Slack, and Amplitude to drive decisions.
Hyper-growth: You are joining at a time where we are scaling our financing offer massively. The impact of your work will directly unlock new revenue streams and customer segments.
About your future manager
You will report to Marco, our Product Marketing Lead of the Payments and Financing team.
His path? With 12 years of experience, Marco has honed his expertise at major tech companies like Expedia and Deliveroo before joining Qonto over 3 years ago, where he now leads a team of four.
What he can bring to the team? Marco combines deep product marketing knowledge with a strong understanding of Qonto's ecosystem. Having grown internally from Senior PMM to Lead, he knows exactly what it takes to succeed and is dedicated to helping his team members develop their careers and reach their full potential.
About You
Banking/Fintech Experience: You have meaningful experience in a bank or fintech companies, ideally involving a Credit Institution (CI) license or credit products.
Strategic GTM Execution: You have a track record of launching complex financial products or managing regulatory announcements. You know how to build a story that builds trust.
Executive Presence: You are comfortable presenting to and challenging C-level stakeholders. You can navigate conflicting feedback to drive a clear strategy.
Regulatory Fluency: You are not afraid of legal constraints; you know how to work with Compliance teams to find the best way to say "yes" to a creative idea.
Languages: You speak fluent English and speaking another Qonto market language (French, German, Italian, or Spanish) is a plus.
