We are hiring for this position out of our Toronto office. Successful candidates who apply outside of these areas will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance.

About The Role

We are seeking a Client Success Manager, Strategic Partnerships, with deep expertise in financial services, fintech, payments, and/or major card network brands. In this role, you will identify and secure new partnership opportunities, negotiate agreements, and lead joint initiatives that drive innovation and mutual growth. You thrive in dynamic environments and excel at building long-term, high-value relationships with external partners.

About The Day-to-day

Identify, evaluate, and secure new partnership opportunities aligned with organizational goals.
Negotiate and structure partnership agreements to maximize mutual value.
Develop and execute joint initiatives with partners to drive innovation and revenue growth.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of partnership strategies.
Monitor and analyze partnership performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Represent the organization at industry events and networking opportunities to expand the partnership pipeline.
Manage partner communications, including regular touchpoints, policy guidance, and issue resolution.
Provide regular updates to the executive team on partnership activities and outcomes.
Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day requests from network partners, advocating for their needs internally.
Lead partner meetings via phone, video, and in-person (10% GTA travel).

About The Qualifications

5+ years of experience in account management, preferably in strategic partnerships, business development, or relationship management within financial services, fintech, or payments.
Strong understanding of card network ecosystems and related business models.
Proven ability to grow and manage client portfolios strategically.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with experience engaging all levels of management and external stakeholders.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple internal stakeholders.
Familiarity with contract review, analytics, and project management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics), and other business software.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide strategic recommendations.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA is an asset).

About The Work Environment

Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home. Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start/end times.

Hiring Process

Compensation

The expected salary for this role is approximately $110,00.00 - $115,000.00 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
