We are looking for:

A recent graduate in Political Science, European Studies, International Relations, Law, or related fields willing to gain professional experience in corporate EU public affairs and policy in an exciting fast-paced organization;
A highly motivated, well-organized and efficient colleague who is looking to gain hands-on experience in EU policy making as well as issue-specific knowledge linked to the chemical industry;
Someone who enjoys working on transversal issues and with people with diverse expertise and backgrounds.

We count on you for:

Support the EU Government & Public Affairs team in with desk research and monitoring on EU policy and legislative developments on environment, sustainability, and industrial policy;
Review and prepare summaries and analyse EU and other relevant policy documents and official reports, and draft background material;
Support the organization of and attend internal meetings. Prepare meeting notes and follow-up actions;
Support for the preparation of presentation material for internal and external meetings and briefing notes;
Attend and report on external conferences, events and webinars.

You will bring:

University degree preferably Political Science, European Studies, International Relations, Law, or related fields;
Knowledge of and a keen interest in EU and global policy and decision-making processes as well as a good understanding of the functioning of the European institutions;
Strong research skills with the ability to pay close attention to details;
Analytical skills and ability to digest complex information into concise and informative briefs/presentations;
Excellent writing skills, including reporting on complex dossiers;
Ability to work autonomously and show initiative;
Excellent command of English, oral and written;
Knowledge of other European languages would be an asset, especially Italian and/or French;
Knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft 365;
Familiarity with AI tools is a plus;
Previous experience within the EU institutions is a plus.
