This positing is for an active client with a quick turn around from interview to start date. This contract will be a long term role.

The Role Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this senior-level role provides critical financial support across multiple portfolios during peak budget cycles. You will drive operating expense analysis, resource planning, and year-end closing activities to ensure financial stability and executive-ready reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Forecasting: Manage monthly OpEx forecasting, variance analysis, and year-end risk assessment across various portfolios.
Workforce Planning: Model staffing and compensation affordability, including vacancy impacts and organizational change scenarios.
Budget Management: Oversee year-end realignments, PO commitment reviews, and the setup of new fiscal year budgets.
Strategic Advisory: Deliver scenario modeling and executive briefings to support time-sensitive decision-making.
Process Excellence: Standardize forecasting practices and ensure all financial assumptions are reliable and decision-ready.

Required Experience

Tenure: 5+ years of progressive FP&A and financial advisory experience in complex corporate environments.
Must have experience in Complex environments , supporting multiple departments/a large portfolio.
Specialization: Proven track record in budget modeling, compensation analysis, and full-cycle year-end activities.
Technical Skills: Advanced Excel modeling is required; SAP experience (or a similar major ERP) is a significant asset.
Soft Skills: Ability to handle highly confidential data and exercise independent judgment under tight deadlines.
