Our client is a Chicago-based investment management firm that supports institutional and private clients through diversified investment strategies. Their technology team focuses on building stable, secure platforms that enable day-to-day business operations and long-term growth. They are seeking a DevOps Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience supporting cloud infrastructure in a heavily AWS-driven environment.

Job Title: DevOps Cloud Engineer

Employment Type: Full-time

Location: Chicago (Hybrid)

Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 base + bonus

Job Responsibilities

Own and support cloud infrastructure used by internal teams and production systems. Implement automation and infrastructure tooling to reduce manual effort and improve system consistency.
Partner with developers and IT teams to support application deployments and operational needs.
Ensure cloud environments are monitored, secure, and operating efficiently.

Qualifications

Professional experience in cloud, DevOps, or infrastructure-focused engineering role.
Strong working knowledge of AWS services and cloud operations best practices.
Experience with automation, scripting, or infrastructure tooling in a real-world environment.
Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
