Product Designer
12+ months, full-time hours per week
$50.00 per hour T4
4x per week onsite Downtown Toronto
We are looking for a UX designer who loves turning messy problems into clean, intuitive experiences. You will work in an agile, collaborative environment where ideas move fast, prototypes evolve even faster, and your voice actually matters.
Responsibilities
Design Strategy
Spot patterns, understand behaviors, and turn them into experiences that just make sense
Use smart interactions and visualizations to help people make sense of big, complex data
Lead critiques, champion inclusive design, and guide teams toward better decisions
Run ideation sessions that get people thinking differently
Be the go-to interaction design expert on the product team
You will make things
Sketches, wireframes, prototypes, user flows, UI visuals
Build prototypes detailed enough for developers to run with
Present your work with clarity and confidence
Research/Testing
Plan and run usability tests
Dive into research to uncover insights and opportunities
Keep an eye on competitors and industry trends
Audit patterns, components, and micro-interactions to keep our design system sharp
What is needed
6+ years of experience
Experience with design systems and working on public sites for a large company
Relevant FI or banking experience
Portfolio of case studies to showcase
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
