My client, a well-established construction business, has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join their divisional finance team. This role supports senior finance leadership in delivering high-quality financial and commercial analysis, alongside robust internal and external reporting and strong financial control. The position has a particular emphasis on joint venture activity and plays an important role in supporting effective decision-making across the business.

The Finance Analyst will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders across finance and the wider business, providing insight through performance analysis, forecasting and management reporting. Key responsibilities include supporting the production of management accounts, joint venture reporting, debtor analysis and balance sheet control, as well as contributing to half-year and year-end external reporting. The role also offers exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and data quality.

My client is seeking a qualified (or recently qualified) ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant with strong analytical capability and advanced Excel skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, the ability to work to tight deadlines, and confidence in communicating financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
