Role Description:

Tittle: Senior Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Engineer

Role Type: contract

Location: Plano, TX (onsite from day one)

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of overall IT experience, with 5–6+ years of hands-on GCP experience.
Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform, including:
Vertex AI and AI service enablement
GCP organization and project structures
IAM, identity federation, and security policies
Networking (Shared VPCs, private access, firewall rules)
Advanced experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code in large-scale environments.
Strong understanding of security, governance, and compliance in regulated enterprises (financial services preferred).
Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform services.
Proficiency in Python (automation, scripting, testing).
Experience working in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments (AWS + GCP a plus).

Nice to Have

Experience with Terraform Enterprise, Argo CD, Helm, and GKE.
Exposure to AI/ML platform enablement in regulated environments.
Familiarity with enterprise tooling such as ServiceNow for release and change management.
Experience supporting cloud adoption at scale (hundreds of projects, multi-region footprints).
