Primary Services is actively recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst to support a large, globally recognized oil and gas organization. In this high-impact role, you'll partner with senior leaders across commercial, operations, logistics, and finance to deliver financial insights, forecasts, and strategic planning support for major U.S. business lines. The position offers a hybrid schedule and significant visibility within a complex, multi-site environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts of sales, production activities, and financial results in coordination with Operations, Accounting, and related business units.
Develop monthly flash reports and comprehensive reporting packages, including detailed variance analysis of internal and external financial drivers.
Lead performance analysis discussions during monthly and quarterly business review meetings.
Prepare and coordinate the annual Operating Budget and Long-Term Plan (LTP), ensuring alignment with global financial templates and corporate requirements.
Analyze operating costs, including commercial logistics, overhead, cash flow, CMO, and ROACE metrics.
Provide benchmark analysis and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making.
Report operating data and market segment information to industry clearing organizations and prepare management summaries of industry trends.
Perform ad hoc financial studies to support sales initiatives, capital expansion projects, and operational improvements.
Serve as controlling lead for designated manufacturing site, delivering detailed explanations of financial results to senior management.
Ensure adherence to all site safety policies and corporate safety objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related discipline.
Minimum 7 years of industry or business experience in financial planning, controlling, or business analysis.
SAP proficiency, including data extraction, financial reporting, and management reporting.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
Expert-level PowerPoint skills for executive-level presentations.
Experience preparing and coordinating annual budgets and long-term financial plans.
Demonstrated experience performing variance analysis, forecasting, and cost analysis in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Experience supporting senior leadership with financial insights and performance reporting.
