Role: Business Development Manager

Location: Brussels

Role Overview

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will receive onboarding support during your first months in close collaboration with the sales, marketing, legal, and technical teams.

Working cross-functionally, you will contribute to expanding the company’s business activities by identifying new opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing and prospective clients.

As the primary point of contact for customers, this role also involves travel mainly within Europe and occasionally internationally.

This is a full-time position based in Belgium.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities
Maintain and grow relationships with clients and strategic partners
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored technical solutions
Contribute to commercial strategy and long-term market development
Support contract discussions in coordination with legal and technical stakeholders

Profile & Qualifications

Strong interest in technology, with the ability to anticipate customer needs and translate them into practical, value-driven solutions
Solid engineer foundation (engineering degree or equivalent experience)
5-10+ years of sales experience in an industrial or technical environment
Experience in selling complex products, customized or solution-based products/services.
Strong commercial drive with a pragmatic, results-oriented mindset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Persistent and resilient, with the ability to manage long sales cycles
Creative thinker who proactively identifies improvements and efficiencies
Fluent in English and French is a plus.
Proficient in standard office software tools
