About the Job

Embedded within the Product Team and working closely with designers, business analysts and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in building and modernizing the platform. The focus of this role is to help lead the technical transformation of our platform while continuing to deliver high-quality features that support

This role suits someone who combines strong technical expertise with empathy, pragmatism and a genuine interest in building online tools that help people. You should be comfortable working in a small, collaborative team.

· Continue building and enhancing features on the current platform.

· Lead migration from .NET Framework to .NET Core.

· Designing new Azure platform architecture to support our growth & scalability requirements.

· Mentoring of junior & mid-level developers.

· Work within Agile/Scrum frameworks & participate in sprint planning, retrospectives and daily stand-ups.

About You

You will be seasoned developer that has worked with Microsoft’s ASP web technologies to build non-trivial systems for at least 10 years using C#.

Essentials skills

· Experience migrating large codebases from.NET Framework to .NET Core.

· Deep understanding of ASP.MVC in both .NET Framework and .NET core.

· ASP.NET Web Forms & ASP.NET Web API.

· SQL Server: T/SQL, RDBMS design, performance tuning.

· Code refactoring & TDD

Desirable skills

· MassTransit & RabbitMQ.

· Strong cloud knowledge & use of infrastructure as code, ideally with Azure.

· Mentoring experience.
