Job Specifications

We are seeking a high-level Technical Lead with over 10 years of experience to drive the development of robust solutions on the iSeries platform. This role balances strategic technical roadmapping with hands-on COBOL development, requiring a professional who can lead onshore/offshore teams within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and refine complex functional and technical requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders.
Lead and mentor a distributed team using an onshore/offshore delivery model.
Execute hands-on development of efficient, scalable code and optimize existing applications.
Drive the technology roadmap both functionally and technically for the project suite.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, focusing on Continuous Integration and process improvement.
Coordinate with clients for solution discussions and requirement clarifications.

Essential Skills

10+ years of expert-level coding in COBOL AS400 and COBOL ILE.
Proficiency in iSeries (Mid-Range) environments, including CLLE and SQL.
Strong command of DB2400 database management and optimization.
Experience utilizing ACMS (Application Control Management System) or MOM.
Proven track record in Technical Leadership and Generic Managerial Skills.

Desirable Skills

Prior experience in RxClaim functional domains.
Experience in high-security/regulated environments (ITAR, NERC CIP, or NRC).
Deep understanding of DevOps principles within an AS400 context.
