Product Analyst – Health Tech (AI)

~$65K to $80K base + performance incentives + meaningful early-stage equity
About the Role
We are building an AI-driven medical scanning platform focused on early detection and clinical decision support, initially serving the Global South with a long-term roadmap toward regulated Western markets.
We are seeking a Product Lead & Strategic BD who will operate at the intersection of product ownership, clinical execution, evidence-driven improvement, and strategic deal closure.
This is a hands-on leadership role in an early-stage health tech company. You will directly replace the founder in day-to-day product decisions, clinical coordination, and strategic deal execution (excluding programming and core system architecture).
What You’ll OwnProduct Leadership & Continuous Improvement
Own product direction through:
Completion of the clinical study including recruting patients
Delivery of the next major UI and workflow upgrade
Translate doctor feedback, clinical requirements, pilot outcomes, and study findings into clear product specifications
Design and run A/B or comparative studies (clinical, workflow, or UI-focused) to drive ongoing product improvement
Make key product prioritization and trade-off decisions in collaboration with engineering (no coding required)
Clinical Study Execution
Lead end-to-end execution of the clinical study, including:
Doctor onboarding and coordination
Study protocol execution
Data integrity, documentation, and timelines
Ensure outputs are clinically credible and reusable for future validation and regulatory narratives
Act as the primary interface between clinicians, product, and engineering during the study period
Strategic Business Development (Not Quota-Based)
Support India-based BD teams in closing pilots and partnerships in the Global South
Take ownership of US-based or strategic global leads when higher trust, complexity, or credibility is required
Participate in pilot structuring, pricing, and positioning
Ensure BD commitments align with product capabilities and clinical realities
Team & Cross-Border Coordination
Coordinate India-based team members, including:
QA
Product analyst
Clinical advisors/doctors
BD resources
Temporary development resources (as needed)
Establish clear execution cadence, accountability, and feedback loops
Who You Are
1+ years of experience in product management, health tech, diagnostics, or adjacent domains
Comfortable working directly with doctors, clinicians, and healthcare stakeholders
Strong product judgment grounded in data, experimentation, and real-world constraints
Software-literate product background:
You have worked closely with engineering teams on software products and are comfortable writing detailed product specifications, understanding system behavior, data flows, APIs, edge cases, and trade-offs, even though you are not expected to code
Experience designing or interpreting A/B tests, comparative studies, or pilot-based experiments
Comfortable operating in ambiguous, early-stage environments
Able to manage cross-border teams with structure and accountability

A passive or Jira-only product manager role
A deep AI/ML research or programming role
