Summary

Cristóbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in his home of Spain. In 1937, he established the brand in Paris, designing its collections there until 1968. Cristóbal Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as "the master of us all" by Christian Dior and as “The Couturier of the Couturiers” by Gabrielle Chanel. The ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house.

While the brand’s identity is firmly rooted in its highly conceptual prêt-à-porter collections, its leather goods, footwear, and accessories experience worldwide success as well. Among the archetypal products of the House are its handbag collections. A new focus on the development of Balenciaga ready-to-wear collections for men was quickly established as highly successful.

Since October 2015, Demna Gvasalia has designed both men’s and women’s collections as the artistic director.

The Balenciaga House, part of the Kering group since 2001, is one of the most influential names in fashion.

Job Description

Retail Coordination

Ensure that all business reports and related follow-ups are completed on time and submitted to the management team.
Monitor commercial targets and performance results for each point of sale.
Work closely with Retail Managers and Store Managers, providing support in addressing general inquiries from all stores.
Coordinate cross-functional projects between headquarters departments and the retail network
Plan and manage regional events and meetings, including Store Manager meetings, weekly regional meetings, and specific workshops
Monitor and control sales performance against budget and financial forecasts, with the support of your manager.
Oversee administrative tasks and ensure their accurate and timely completion.
Successfully coordinate the onboarding process for new hires.
Provide the retail teams with a clear overview of strategic direction to align processes, expectations, and performance standards.
Follow up on store action plans and identify best practices to be deployed across the region.

Client Engagement

Partner with the Client Engagement team and Retail Managers to roll out clienteling guidelines and initiatives, and to track key performance indicators as well as team results.
Ensure that Client Engagement tools and reports are fully understood and properly used across the network, particularly the Luce clienteling application
Analyse CRM KPIs using Client Engagement tools.
Regularly review CRM KPIs and propose action plans to maximize performance, in close collaboration with the Store Manager and the Client Engagement team.
Monitor weekly clienteling activities: target selection, action planning, and results tracking.
Manage remote orders: ensure they are correctly processed in the system and that customer selections are analyzed in a structured manner.
Support events: supplier meetings, client list management, and results follow-up.
