We’re looking for our next Business Systems Analyst (12 Month Contract) . Could It Be You?

Your mission is to help us spread creative thinking beyond existing industry practices for our exciting new projects and play a key role in seeing them through to completion.

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will communicate with multiple stakeholders to elicit,

define, analyze and document requirements for our cutting-edge application developments and enhancements to the existing ones. You will be responsible to manage, author and update various BA/BSA artifacts in an Agile environment.

Play the Team Member role as BA in an agile Scrum/Kanban team
Conduct interviews with subject matter experts (SME), management and end- users to elicit, define, analyze and document requirements for new products, projects and their enhancements
Participate in brainstorming sessions with various stakeholders within the organization
Conduct walkthroughs of requirements, business logics and workflows of items in varying complexities, with different business and technology stakeholders in various levels to ensure comprehension and feasibility of requirements
Produce or assist with of a variety of business/systems analysis artifacts including:
Product backlog / user stories and epics
Requirements documents (i.e., BRD, SRD, MRD)
Use case documents
Data models; current/future state flow diagrams
Presentations for requirement/solution walkthroughs
Utilizing business analysis methodologies and industry practices when solving business problems

Genuine interest to help Canadians with their financial solutions
Eager to learn about the banking & mortgage industry, and the different types of products the industry offers
Experience in facilitating meetings, documentation, conducting interviews to elicit and write complete and detailed requirements.
Understanding of business, data, process, and object-oriented analysis and modeling techniques.
Strong interpersonal, communication and documentation skills
Ability to work under pressure and juggling multiple projects with varying deadlines
Experience working with agile team members (i.e., designer, developer, tester etc.) through design, coding, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support client initiatives phases
Experience in the banking/financial/investment systems/solution development area
Knowledge of writing/understanding/interpreting API documentation
CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner), CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or other relevant business analysis certification an asset
Computer science or computer engineering degree is an asset

Compensation Information:

Base salary range: $65,000 - $85,000
The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada).
