Edge Pursuit is seeking an experienced FP&A Consultant (Associate Director-level). The ideal candidate will have a strong executive presence with proven experience in leading financial planning, forecasting and analysis activities and driving FP&A initiatives. Experience in a dynamic, clinical-stage biotech environment is required.

Responsibilities:

Support a high-performing FP&A function, including managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes, developing team members and fostering growth.
Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards evaluate business opportunities to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
Business partnering and collaboration with cross-functional leadership (Operations, Research, Regulatory, Quality, etc.) to understand business drivers, key performance indicators, and market dynamics, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Prepare and present periodic financial reports, variance analysis, and key insights to executive management and stakeholders.
Support the month and quarter-end close process for financial reporting purposes, including variance analysis and managing the monthly R&D/clinical trials accrual process.
Ensure proper (SOX) documentation and support audit requests for assigned area(s).

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in FP&A including at least 3 years of experience in a high-growth clinical/late-stage biotech environment. S/he should be a highly motivated self-starter with entrepreneurial savvy, exceptional business acumen and excellent client-facing skills, enthusiastic and energetic, goal-driven, and have the ability to adapt with ease and shift focus between tasks seamlessly.

This consulting role is expected to have a 12+ month duration. Local (SF Bay Area) candidates preferred.
