Your mission
As an Offshore Installation Methods Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, coordination, and delivery of installation engineering activities for offshore projects.
You will ensure that installation methodologies, procedures, and associated documentation are technically robust, compliant with contractual requirements, and aligned with project constraints.
Your responsibilities
Installation engineering & methods
Develop installation engineering studies related to offshore installation scopes.
Issue, update, and follow up installation procedures and technical documents within your scope.
Design lifting and rigging solutions required for offshore installation activities.
Prepare technical inputs for installation activities presentations and project reviews.
Technical documentation & interfaces
Prepare Technical Memos and Technical Queries to support contractual deviations when required.
Review contracts, qualifications, clarifications, and specifications, including interfaces with partners and subcontractors.
Initiate and manage documentation related to equipment, installation aids, and materials.
Specify and follow up equipment, installation aids, and materials, including associated technical documentation.
Coordination & follow-up
Follow up drafting activities related to installation engineering scope.
Provide technical support for presentations and meetings related to offshore installation activities.
Prepare project operation reports for the assigned scope.
Your profile
Education: Engineering degree (Mechanical, Offshore, Naval, or equivalent).
Experience: Proven experience (10+) in offshore installation engineering or methods engineering on EPC or offshore projects.
Technical skills:
Strong knowledge of offshore installation methods, lifting operations, and marine operations.
Ability to review contracts and manage technical interfaces.
Soft skills:
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to work in multidisciplinary and international project environments.
Proactive mindset and clear technical communication.
Skills & tools
Languages: Fluent English required (written and spoken).
Tools & environments: Offshore installation procedures, lifting & rigging design tools, drafting coordination, Microsoft 365.
