We’re partnering with a technology-led organisation to hire a Head of Platforms to own the strategy and evolution of a suite of business-critical platforms.

This role leads the design, development and long-term direction of core financial systems, ensuring they are secure, scalable and built to support growth in a regulated environment.

What you’ll be doing

Own the end-to-end strategy for core financial platforms
Lead platform architecture and technical direction
Partner with product, engineering and governance teams to deliver robust solutions
Ensure platforms meet security, reliability and regulatory expectations
Drive platform improvement, modernisation and operational excellence

What we’re looking for

Senior experience owning or leading financial or transaction-heavy platforms
Strong understanding of core fintech-style capabilities (e.g. ledgers, accounts, onboarding, payments or event-driven systems)
Background in platform architecture and scalable system design
Experience working with cloud infrastructure and modern delivery practices
Comfortable operating in regulated or high-assurance environments
