We’re looking for a Senior TIBCO EBX Developer to take a key role in designing and evolving enterprise-grade Master Data Management solutions.
This is a long-term, remote collaboration for someone who’s comfortable owning solutions end to end and who enjoys working at the intersection of data, architecture, and governance.
You’ll be working with complex data domains, mature stakeholders, and real enterprise scale.

What you’ll be doing
Designing, configuring, and implementing MDM and reference data solutions in TIBCO EBX, including data models, hierarchies, workflows, and UI configurations
Building and maintaining integrations between EBX and enterprise systems (ESB, APIs, ETL, ERP, CRM, analytics platforms)
Defining and implementing data quality rules, validation logic, access rights, and security models
Customizing and extending EBX workflows (BPM) to support governance, stewardship, and approval processes
Implementing import/export mechanisms, batch processing, and synchronization pipelines
Collaborating with data architects and solution architects on standards, best practices, and target MDM architecture
Translating business and governance requirements into practical, scalable EBX implementations
Supporting production environments: troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and optimization
Preparing technical documentation and supporting knowledge transfer
Contributing to data migration initiatives (mapping, cleansing, transformation, loading)
Participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to realistic estimations and delivery planning
What we’re looking for
Strong hands-on experience with TIBCO EBX (formerly Orchestra Networks), including:
Data modeling
User interface configuration
Workflows and BPM
Access rights and permissions
Data quality and validation rules
Solid understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts: governance, golden records, stewardship, matching/merging, hierarchies.
Experience integrating EBX with enterprise applications via:
REST / SOAP APIs
ETL tools
Message brokers / ESB platforms
JDBC, files, or batch integrations
Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or Groovy (as used for extensions within EBX).
Good understanding of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.).
Experience working in complex enterprise environments with structured change management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders and translate business needs into data models and workflows.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
