Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the City of Cape Town for a Software Engineer. In this role, the Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain software solutions, with a focus on back-end web development and object-oriented programming (OOP). Key tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing efficient code, troubleshooting and debugging applications, and ensuring the functionality and performance of software products align with business objectives.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and software design
Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and experience in server-side technologies
Skilled in Software Development and Programming
Knowledge and practical expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) practices
Experience with testing, debugging, and optimizing applications
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Familiarity with healthcare technology or data security is a plus
