Job Title: Trade Marketing Associate Manager
Pay rate: $24/hour. to $25.00/hour.
Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (40 hours/week)
Work Model: Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week
Location: New York, NY 10018
Duration: 6-month contract (temp-to-perm; possible extensions)
Role Overview
This role supports trade marketing initiatives, with a strong focus on budget management and hands-on program execution.
The Associate Manager will own the financials and day-to-day operations for two core trade marketing programs and help support a digital transformation initiative (moving from Excel-based tracking to a centralized platform in partnership with IT).
This is a high-execution, detail-oriented role ideal for someone who enjoys building structure, improving processes, and driving projects forward independently.
The position supports business continuity during a transition in full-time staffing.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and track $4M+ CAPEX and OPEX budgets
Own detailed budget tracking and program forecasting
Open purchase orders, track invoices, follow up on payments
Partner with Finance to ensure accurate and timely financial processing
Manage day-to-day operations of key trade marketing programs
Timelines
Vendor coordination
Issue resolution
Ongoing optimization
Serve as primary point of contact for external vendors
Identify opportunities to improve workflows and increase efficiency
Execute project management tasks:
Track deliverables
Follow up on open items
Drive projects to completion
Basic Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, Operations, or related field
Experience:
3–5 years in marketing operations, trade marketing, project coordination, or finance
Hands-on experience managing complex CAPEX and OPEX budgets
Skills:
Strong Excel proficiency (budgeting, forecasting, tracking)
Strong ownership mindset and follow-through
Comfortable in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
Willing to roll up sleeves and handle operational and administrative details
