About the Opportunity:

This organization is seeking a passionate Threat Hunter to join a growing team of Intrusion Analysts defending customers and understanding adversaries. After learning custom tools, workflows, and methodologies, the candidate will work with analysts to protect customer networks by identifying intrusions using endpoint data and the broader product suite. The role includes building tools and collaborating across teams. There are opportunities to shape detection and threat hunting approaches, along with career development for motivated individuals.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze adversary activity and communicate findings to customers under time-sensitive conditions

• Conduct research to improve detection capabilities and adversary understanding

• Use network/host-based intrusion analysis, digital forensics, and cyber threat intelligence to identify intrusions

• Gain experience dealing with state-sponsored threat actors

• Hunt specific nation-state adversaries in a large data set

Requirements:

• Experience in network/host-based intrusion analysis, digital forensics, or cyber threat intelligence

• Experience conducting threat hunting or intrusion analysis using endpoint telemetry

• Understanding of nation-state adversary motivations and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)

• Ability to explain complex or technical concepts to diverse stakeholders

• Strong knowledge of at least one major operating system

• Awareness of current and emerging threats with practical security research knowledge

Bonus Points:

• Knowledge of operating systems other than Windows (Linux, Mac)

• Experience in a security operations center or similar environment tracking threat actors or responding to incidents

• Knowledge of identity and cloud security fundamentals

• Published research or findings at conferences or through blogs, articles, or other non-academic channels

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or comparable work experience

Compensation:

• Placement within the pay range depends on factors such as relevant experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location.

• Base salary range details are available upon request.
