Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Nuclear Security Director to lead the security program for our Nuclear business. This leadership role oversees personnel security, physical security, information protection, and business resilience for nuclear projects, facilities and operations, ensuring compliance with national programs and client requirements across jurisdictions where we operate.
Your role
Lead the Nuclear Security strategy, standards, and security operations aligned with Global Security (GS) pillars: personnel security, physical security, and business resilience & recovery (BRR).
Serve as the principal security advisor to Nuclear business leadership; provide specialist guidance on risk assessment, mitigation and incident/crisis management.
Act as Company Security Officer / Alternate Company Security Officer (as applicable) for nuclear contracts and facilities; ensure compliance with government Contract Security Program requirements, Document Safeguarding Capability (DSC), and Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
Own executive and project security planning: site security assessments, protective measures, evacuation/journey management, and vendor/client security due‑diligence.
Oversee personnel security clearances processing and maintenance according to applicable national programs, and ensure secure handling, storage and transmission of protected/classified information.
Coordinate Nuclear business participation in the Business Resilience & Recovery Program (BRRP): update Emergency Response Plans (ERP), Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and test/validate arrangements via exercises.
Lead the dissemination of threat intelligence relevant to nuclear facilities, projects and supply chains; maintain proactive monitoring for emerging risks.
Chair/participate in the on‑call Duty Officer rotation (24/7) and lead major incident investigations when required.
Reports to the Vice-President Global Security.
About You
College/University education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
15+ years of progressive experience in nuclear security, corporate security, law enforcement or military; including leadership roles within commercial nuclear operations/projects.
Demonstrated experience implementing security programs and obligations, including personnel security, facility security and contract security compliance.
In‑depth knowledge of nuclear‑sector clearance regimes and regulatory programs across our operating jurisdictions (e.g., facility and personnel clearances, controlled goods, document safeguarding requirements).
Ability to obtain and maintain Government security clearances required for nuclear contracts and facilities (e.g., Level II / Secret and NATO Secret), as well as any other clearances determined by national Contract Security Programs.
Strengths in risk management, business resilience & recovery, and leading multi‑stakeholder training/exercise programs (e.g., tabletop, complex simulations).
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, tact and diplomacy; bilingual French & English essential.
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain Level II / Secret and NATO Secret government security clearances, and any other clearances required by national programs for nuclear contracts and facilities in jurisdictions where we operate. Bilingual French & English is essential.
Duty‑Officer rotation: Ability and willingness to perform stand‑by/on‑call duties on a 24/7 basis during emergencies.

Additional information
Expected compensation for this role is between $125,000 - $145,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
